CoolIT Systems Unveils High-Performance CHx1500 Coolant Distribution Unit

CoolIT Systems has introduced the CHx1500, a high-performance row-based coolant distribution unit, offering superior cooling capacity and pump pressure for AI and HPC environments.

CoolIT Systems has announced the launch of the CHx1500, described as the world's highest-performing row-based coolant distribution unit (CDU), announced in a press release. The CHx1500 offers a 53% increase in cooling capacity and a 26% boost in pump pressure compared to other major CDUs.

The CHx1500 is engineered to meet the demanding cooling requirements of AI and high-performance computing (HPC) environments. It delivers a cooling capacity of 1500kW with a flow rate of up to 1.2 liters per minute per kilowatt at a 5°C approach temperature difference. This unit is capable of cooling nine NVIDIA GB200 NVL72 racks and is designed to handle more thermally dense AI chips and servers in the future.

CoolIT's new CDU is noted for its compact design and high performance across key metrics such as cooling capacity, flow rates, pressure, and density. It provides 27% to 148% greater cooling load and 53% to 463% more cooling load density compared to similar units from other manufacturers.

The CHx1500 is now available for worldwide orders, with CoolIT offering comprehensive support and onsite services in over 75 countries, including system design, installation, and maintenance.
