Cognizant Introduces Secure AI Services for Enterprise-Scale Agentic Systems
Cognizant announced in a press release the launch of Cognizant Secure AI Services, an integrated offering to help enterprises secure, govern, and scale AI and agentic systems across operations. The service is designed to address new security and governance challenges emerging from autonomous and context-driven AI deployments.
The offering helps organizations move toward what Cognizant calls "provable trust," which combines evidence, traceability, and continuous assurance. Security is applied at two stages: during system build, by protecting models, data, and pipelines before deployment, and during runtime, by monitoring AI behavior to detect manipulation and preserve audit evidence.
Cognizant Secure AI Services is built on three core components: a secure Agent Development Lifecycle embedding protection through design and deployment, Cognizant Neuro Cybersecurity providing a unified control plane for threat response and audit evidence, and Responsible AI delivered through Cognizant Trust for continuous compliance and policy enforcement.
The company stated that it is already working with more than 250 global enterprises to secure AI deployments across regulated industries. Early projects have focused on mitigating risks such as deepfake fraud, model tampering, and unsafe agent behavior while establishing governance frameworks for scalable and compliant AI operations.
