Cognizant will integrate Anthropic’s Claude AI models and agentic tooling across its platforms and internal systems, announced in a press release. The company will roll out Claude to up to 350,000 employees to enhance productivity and support clients in scaling AI adoption across enterprises.

The collaboration will align Cognizant’s engineering and platform offerings with Anthropic’s capabilities, including Claude for Enterprise, Claude Code, the Model Context Protocol (MCP), and the Agent SDK. These tools will allow clients to integrate AI with existing data and applications, orchestrate multi-step work with human oversight, and manage performance and risk.

Initial focus areas include software engineering productivity, legacy modernization, and the development of domain-specific AI agents. Cognizant plans to combine its Flowsource platform with Claude Code to accelerate coding, testing, and DevOps tasks, while leveraging Anthropic’s Agent SDK for multi-agent orchestration. The partnership will also advance responsible AI practices aligned with enterprise governance standards such as MCP.

Cognizant will engage clients through workshops and platform integrations, helping teams identify high-value AI use cases and move them into production for measurable outcomes.
