Cognizant and Anthropic Partner with Travelport for AI Transformation
Cognizant is partnering with Travelport to advance a strategic transformation that will use Anthropic's Claude model to modernize how Travelport builds, tests, and maintains software, according to a press release.
The collaboration will embed AI capabilities into Travelport's travel retail and distribution platforms. It aims to help airlines, hotels, travel management companies, and online travel agencies adopt AI innovation more rapidly across global operations.
The project targets structural challenges in travel booking systems that rely on older architectures. By deploying AI infrastructure, the companies intend to bridge the gap between AI driven travel searches and confirmed bookings, improving efficiency and automation across Travelport's platform.
