CLPS Incorporation has partnered with The Bank of East Asia (BEA) to conduct a proof-of-concept (PoC) for Nibot, an AI agent integrating robotic process automation and generative AI, announced in a press release. The project is part of the second cohort of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority’s (HKMA) GenAI Sandbox, launched with the Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company.

As the technology partner, CLPS will provide technical support while BEA contributes its banking expertise. The PoC aims to assess Nibot’s potential to improve efficiency, compliance, and risk management in banking operations.

Nibot’s capabilities include automated generation and optimization of RPA workflows with embedded regulatory policies, real-time risk monitoring with feedback mechanisms, and AI-driven process verification through multi-agent collaboration. CLPS stated that the initiative will help explore hyper-automation in financial workflows and strengthen intelligent risk control systems.
