Chevron Expands Global Use of Arkestro’s Predictive Procurement Platform
Announced in a press release, Chevron has expanded its adoption of Arkestro’s predictive procurement platform to operations worldwide. The expansion extends from the United States to teams in Buenos Aires, Angola, the Philippines, Australia, and Thailand.
According to the announcement, Chevron uses Arkestro’s platform to accelerate supplier cycle times, reduce sourcing cost volatility, and increase visibility across spending categories. The company reports that the system enables faster procurement processes and improved efficiency without additional resource strain.
Arkestro stated that the energy sector has become its fastest-growing market segment, supported by measurable cost reductions of over 20% below previous benchmark prices. The company’s growth has been bolstered by a $36 million strategic investment led by Altira Group and Aramco Ventures.
Arkestro will highlight its work with Chevron and other energy clients at its Optimal ’25 conference in Houston on October 29–30, 2025, where Chevron’s senior IT category manager Joshua Flowers is scheduled to speak about the company’s predictive procurement transformation.
