ChatGPT Voice Adds Plugins and Work Tasks

ChatGPT Voice now supports plugins and connected apps on web, iOS, and Android. Voice is also available in Work for creating files and completing browser tasks.

OpenAI added plugin and connected app access to ChatGPT Voice on web, iOS, and Android, as detailed in its release notes. Users can access tools available to their accounts during a Voice conversation and view written responses in the chat.

Voice is also available in Work on web and mobile. Users can ask it to create documents, presentations, and spreadsheets, access connected apps, or complete tasks in a browser. Unfinished Work tasks can continue in text after a Voice call ends.

Free and Go users can access Voice in Chat with the plugins supported by their plans. Voice in Work requires access to both Voice and Work. Existing permissions, app connections, and usage limits still apply.
