Chargeflow Introduces Automated Fraud Prevention Platform
Chargeflow has launched Chargeflow Prevent, a new platform designed to combat post-purchase fraud, announced in a press release. This first-of-its-kind solution focuses on the critical period between payment and fulfillment, a gap often exploited by fraudsters.
Unlike traditional fraud detection tools that operate at the point of payment, Chargeflow Prevent uses advanced machine learning to identify high-risk orders in real-time after the payment has been made but before the order is fulfilled. This allows merchants to block fraudulent activities such as stolen-card fraud and policy abuse, potentially reducing disputes by as much as 90%.
The platform assigns a risk score to each order, recommending actions such as approval, verification, or cancellation. In cases of suspicious activity, the system alerts the buyer, often deterring fraudulent disputes. Chargeflow Prevent is integrated with major commerce platforms, offering merchants a plug-and-play solution with no setup fees or long-term contracts.
Chargeflow's CEO, Ariel, emphasized the importance of evolving fraud prevention strategies to protect merchants from the growing threat of digital shoplifting, ensuring they can serve their customers with confidence.
