May 28, 2026
CGI has been awarded a contract to implement its CGI Advantage ERP system for the School District of Osceola County, Florida, replacing outdated systems with an integrated cloud-based platform.

CGI and the School District of Osceola County, Florida have announced a partnership to modernize the district’s enterprise resource planning system, according to a press release. The district awarded CGI the contract following a competitive procurement process.

CGI will implement its CGI Advantage ERP platform, a cloud-based system designed for public sector organizations. The platform integrates financial management, procurement, budgeting, and human capital management into one solution that provides real time financial visibility and supports compliance and transparency.

The implementation began in April 2026 and follows a minimum viable product approach aligned with the district’s operational calendar. The system includes embedded AI tools such as Samantha, a generative AI chatbot for user assistance, and Advantage Assistant, which offers contextual guidance within the application.

CGI will serve as both the software provider and implementation partner, giving the district a single point of accountability for the modernization effort.
