CarLocal.io Expands AI Search Platform for Car Dealerships

Sep 25, 2026
CarLocal.io is expanding its automotive AI answer engine and dealership search visibility platform as more vehicle shoppers use AI for research.

CarLocal.io announced in a press release that it is expanding its automotive AI answer engine and dealership search visibility platform. The company cited Cox Automotive research showing that 63% of active vehicle shoppers plan to use AI during their next purchase, while 29% of dealers say they are adapting to AI powered search.

The platform combines automotive AI search, answer engine optimization, generative engine optimization, structured dealership data, local automotive search coverage and website infrastructure. CarLocal.io is also building infrastructure that supports the Model Context Protocol.

As of September 2026, the company reports 21 active dealership deployments and analysis of more than 49,000 live automotive web pages. Its quality work included correcting more than 11,000 promotional claims, removing over 23,000 unsupported promotional references, resolving 573 canonical conflicts and adding more than 68,000 internal links. These figures are internal operational counts and do not independently show consumer adoption, search ranking gains or AI citation performance.
