Candidly is adding financial guidance that uses employee benefits, payroll and debt data. Its Cait conversational AI will help employees compare scenarios and plan across savings, benefits and liabilities.

Candidly announced in a press release a financial guidance service that uses an employee's workplace benefits, pay and debt data. The offering will be available to employers in fall 2026.

Employees access the service through Cait, Candidly's conversational AI tool. Cait answers financial questions in plain language and provides dashboards and interactive visualizations for forecasting progress, comparing scenarios and tracking goals.

The service covers benefits eligibility, student debt, college costs, budgeting, credit cards, mortgages, vehicle and personal loans, retirement plans, employer equity and education savings accounts. Guidance can draw from payroll data, benefits enrollment, employer program details and plan documents when the employee provides the required permissions.
