Bonterra Earns ISO 42001 Certification for AI Management

Bonterra received ISO 42001 certification for the AI management system covering its full certified product portfolio. The certification requires annual reviews and remains valid through July 2029.

Bonterra received ISO/IEC 42001:2023 certification on July 30, the company said in a press release. Bonterra says fewer than 400 organizations globally have earned the certification.

The certification was issued by independent certification body 360 Advanced Compass Rose and remains valid through July 29, 2029. Maintaining it requires annual surveillance reviews and full recertification every three years.

The certified AI management system covers CyberGrants, Apricot/ETO, Network for Good Donor Management System, EveryAction, GiveGab and Que. Its controls include human oversight, impact assessments before releases and significant changes, incident reporting procedures and a commitment that customer data is not used to train large language models.
