Bloomberg Expands IBVAL Pricing to Emerging Market Bonds

Bloomberg has announced the expansion of its AI-powered Intraday BVAL (IBVAL) Front Office pricing solution to include emerging market bonds, enhancing pricing transparency for global traders.

Bloomberg has announced the expansion of its AI-powered Intraday BVAL (IBVAL) Front Office pricing solution to include emerging market bonds, announced in a press release. This expansion aims to deliver greater pricing transparency to some of the most liquid international bond markets.

The IBVAL now provides near real-time pricing for over 95% of traded emerging market USD bonds, including both corporate and sovereign bonds, as well as Emerging Market EUR/GBP Corporate Bonds. This expansion adds approximately 6,000 bonds from 98 countries across the LatAm, EMEA, and APAC regions, including nations such as Mexico, Brazil, and China.

Bloomberg's IBVAL pricing coverage has also been extended to 22 hours a day, five days a week for the most actively traded securities. This enhancement allows traders to integrate automated pricing into their workflows, improving trade execution confidence and outcomes. The IBVAL service is accessible via the Bloomberg Terminal and Bloomberg's real-time market data feed, B-PIPE.
