Bloomberg makes ASKB available with chat and file search
Bloomberg announced in a press release that ASKB, the conversational AI interface in the Bloomberg Terminal, is now generally available to financial professionals. The interface combines Bloomberg data, news and research with content from customers' Instant Bloomberg chats, worksheets and files.
Users can ask questions about up to three months of their own chat history, with answers citing the original conversations. ASKB can also analyze securities in existing worksheets, including coverage lists and watchlists, without requiring users to enter each ticker separately.
Bloomberg Drive lets customers upload, organize, search and share documents such as research notes, investment theses and earnings summaries. ASKB can answer questions using a file, folder or full document library alongside Bloomberg sources, with citations to the relevant files and passages. Uploaded files remain private unless the user chooses to share them with colleagues.
