Bettani Farms Rebrands and Secures $6.5 Million Funding

October 06, 2025
Bettani Farms, formerly Climax Foods, has rebranded and raised $6.5 million in Series A funding to launch its Caseed™ ingredient and dairy-free cheeses.

Bettani Farms, previously known as Climax Foods, has announced a rebranding alongside a $6.5 million Series A funding round, announced in a press release. The funding, led by S2G Investments, will support the launch of Bettani's proprietary Caseed™ ingredient and its range of protein-rich, dairy-free cheeses.

The company has appointed Sandeep Patel, former CFO of Califia Farms, as the new CEO and Chairman. Bettani's innovative Caseed™ ingredient mimics the functionality of dairy casein, offering a non-GMO, allergen-free alternative that enhances the texture and melt of dairy-free cheeses. This development aims to address the shortcomings of existing dairy-free cheese options, which often lack optimal texture and protein content.

Bettani's strategic updates come as consumer preferences shift towards high-protein, allergen-free, and sustainable food products. The company plans to showcase its products at upcoming events, including MISTA's Growth Hack Demo Day and Bridge2Food in October 2025.
