Beijing Surgerii's SHURUI Surgical Robot Gains CE Certification

Beijing Surgerii Robotics Company Limited has received CE certification for its SHURUI Single-Port Surgical Robot, marking a significant milestone in robotic surgery.

Beijing Surgerii Robotics Company Limited has achieved a significant milestone by obtaining CE certification for its SHURUI Single-Port Surgical Robot, announced in a press release. This certification, under MDR EU2017/745, marks the SHURUI system as the first single-port surgical robot in Europe approved for pediatric use.

The SHURUI system is designed to enhance precision in laparoscopic surgeries across various specialties, including urological, gynecological, general, and thoracoscopic procedures. Its innovative snake-like instruments allow for high-precision operations through a single incision, significantly reducing surgical trauma and accelerating patient recovery.

To date, the SHURUI robot has been utilized in over 2,000 surgeries and has facilitated more than 50 innovative procedures. Beijing Surgerii has partnered with over 70 hospitals in China and nearly 10 in Europe, establishing a European clinical excellence center in collaboration with IRCAD to provide standardized training in single-access surgery.
