Axion Semiconductor Acquires Moov Technologies to Expand Supply Chain Platform

Axion Semiconductor has acquired Moov Technologies, a global marketplace for semiconductor equipment, to strengthen its supply chain operations and services platform. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Axion Semiconductor has acquired Moov Technologies, a global marketplace and asset management platform for semiconductor manufacturing equipment, announced in a press release. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

The acquisition expands Axion Semiconductor's operating platform and strengthens its position across the semiconductor manufacturing supply chain. Based in Austin, Texas, Moov Technologies provides a digital marketplace for buying, selling, and managing semiconductor equipment and parts in more than 55 countries. Its platform supports sourcing and sales of fabrication, packaging, testing, and surface mount technology equipment, along with logistics, refurbishment, and installation services.

Following the transaction, Jim O'Reilly will serve as CEO of Moov Technologies, and Jeff Kielty will continue as managing director. Moov will maintain its hubs in Austin, New York, Tempe, and Taipei while integrating into Axion Semiconductor’s broader platform based in Colorado.

Axion Semiconductor was founded by industry veterans Austin Gill, John Getchell, and Jeff Robbins. The company focuses on acquiring and integrating semiconductor businesses to support the evolving infrastructure needs of the global semiconductor supply chain.
