Awear Unveils Personal AI Platform for Smart Glasses

Awear emerged from stealth at the Snapdragon Summit in Maui and introduced its personal AI platform, the company announced in a press release. The platform provides a context aware, multimodal intelligence layer for private AI agents, starting with smart glasses.

Users can create and shape agents that move across devices and brands while retaining identity, preferences and context. Device makers can build their own experiences around these agents.

The platform runs on the Snapdragon AR1+ from Qualcomm Technologies. Awear is working with an initial group of device and eyewear partners and says the platform is intended eventually to support devices people carry, wear and drive, as well as robotic systems.
