Avathon has been selected by the U.S. Air Force to enhance its supply chain operations through AI innovations, announced in a press release. The collaboration aims to address operational risks by leveraging large language models and knowledge graph technology to provide better insights into lead times, part availability, pricing, and quality.

As part of the Digital, Research, Innovation, Validation and Experimentation (D.R.I.V.E.) Consortium, Avathon is working alongside other technology companies to deploy AI-powered solutions for the Air Force. This initiative, led by the Ohio Aerospace Institute, includes collaboration with Boeing to develop AI asset performance management applications that improve supply chain health and mitigate operational risks.

The AI platform will enable intelligent logistics strategies by integrating historical data from key suppliers with external factors such as weather conditions, worker strikes, and geopolitical climates. This approach aims to provide planners with crucial insights and predictions about supply chain health and its impact on lead times and part availability.
