Atlassian Adds Visual AI Tools and Partner Agents to Confluence
Atlassian has introduced new AI-powered features in its Confluence platform, expanding its collaboration capabilities announced in a press release. The update includes the open beta of Remix, a tool that converts content on Confluence pages into visual formats such as charts, infographics, and summaries.
Remix allows users to highlight sections of a page to generate visuals like scorecards or presentation-ready graphics. The visuals remain linked to the original content, maintaining a single source of truth. The tool also offers recommendations for the most effective visual format based on content and usage patterns.
Alongside Remix, Atlassian launched three pre-built partner agents that connect Confluence with external tools. The Lovable agent turns product specifications into UI prototypes, Replit converts technical documents into starter applications, and Gamma transforms notes into presentations. These agents operate through the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and can be enabled by administrators without custom setup.
The new features are part of Atlassian’s broader effort to integrate AI directly into its existing products, enabling teams to create visual assets and interactive outputs without leaving Confluence.
