AskELIE launches askVERA, an AI service that simplifies complex documents and communications, according to a company press release. The platform provides Plain English and Easy Read versions of content.

The consumer service lets users upload or paste contracts, letters, policies and official correspondence. It then produces a simplified version of the material.

The business service integrates with company workflows to simplify customer content in larger volumes. AskELIE says the service can support accessibility requirements and reduce questions caused by unclear communications. askVERA is available online as a standalone subscription.
