Armadin Raises $255.5 Million at $2.5 Billion Valuation
Armadin raised $255.5 million in Series B funding at a valuation of more than $2.5 billion, the company announced in a press release. Andreessen Horowitz and Accel jointly led the round, with participation from Bain Capital Ventures, Redpoint, 8VC, Ballistic Ventures, Google Ventures, In-Q-Tel, Kleiner Perkins and Menlo Ventures.
The financing brings Armadin's total funding to $445 million, seven months after the cybersecurity company emerged from stealth. Armadin says its autonomous agents test attack paths by combining separate security weaknesses into validated chains across enterprise systems and cloud infrastructure.
Armadin will use the funding to expand its security platform, research, training and go to market operations. The company says Fortune 500 businesses and government customers are already using its agent based attack campaigns.
