Aretum Acquires Veterans Engineering to Expand Federal IT and Cyber Capabilities
Aretum has acquired Veterans Engineering, expanding its federal IT, cybersecurity, and cloud capabilities, announced in a press release. The acquisition strengthens Aretum’s presence in key federal markets and enhances its technology offerings in digital transformation and cloud delivery.
Founded in 2005 and based in Rockville, Maryland, Veterans Engineering provides IT modernization, process engineering, cybersecurity, and cloud architecture services to agencies including the Departments of Veterans Affairs, Homeland Security, and Energy, as well as the Defense Health Agency. The company will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Aretum.
Aretum stated that it will integrate many of Veterans Engineering’s operations, systems, and delivery teams while retaining key technical and leadership personnel to maintain continuity for federal customers. The acquisition was supported by Renovus Capital Partners, which backs Aretum’s growth strategy in the federal technology sector.
The combined organization will continue to pursue opportunities across defense, intelligence, and civilian markets, focusing on cloud modernization, enterprise cybersecurity, and data-driven mission systems.
