Arctic Wolf has introduced Cipher, an AI security assistant built on the Arctic Wolf Aurora Platform, announced in a press release. Developed in collaboration with Anthropic, Cipher offers self-guided access to deeper security insights, enhancing investigations and alert comprehension by delivering instant answers, contextual enrichment, and actionable summaries.

Cipher is part of Arctic Wolf's Alpha AI portfolio, leveraging the extensive data lake of the Aurora Platform, which processes over 8 trillion security events weekly. This integration allows Cipher to provide real-time threat detection and response across various attack surfaces, including endpoint, network, cloud, and identity.

The AI assistant is designed to complement the existing Concierge Security experience, offering a 24/7 self-service option for accessing insights and recommendations. Cipher's development was supported by Anthropic's advanced large language model technology, ensuring high standards for security and privacy.

Cipher is currently available as a beta release to Arctic Wolf customers, providing them with new ways to interact with their security data, such as summarizing alerts and exploring vulnerabilities.
