ARBOR, DeepX, and MemryX Launch AI Baggage Monitoring System for Airports
ARBOR Technology Corp., in collaboration with DeepX and MemryX, announced an AI-powered baggage monitoring solution for airports in a press release. The system integrates edge AI computing, computer vision, and accelerator hardware to improve baggage handling visibility and response times.
At the core of the solution is ARBOR’s ARES-1983H-AI platform, an industrial-grade edge AI system designed for continuous operation in demanding environments such as airport baggage areas. It withstands vibration, dust, and temperature variations while maintaining reliable performance.
DeepX provides AI-based computer vision capabilities to detect baggage flow conditions, including jams and congestion on conveyor systems. This enables real-time alerts and proactive responses by operators. MemryX contributes its MX3 M.2 AI Accelerator Module, offering high-performance, low-latency inference at the edge with an open-source SDK to simplify deployment.
The combined solution delivers end-to-end visibility and scalable deployment across terminals, allowing airports to enhance operational efficiency and prepare for future integration with cloud-based systems.
