AppZen Introduces AI Agents for Corporate Card Programs

AppZen announces in a press release Autonomous Cards, a service that uses AI agents to monitor and process transactions across existing corporate card programs. The service will be generally available on October 26.

Autonomous Cards connects to purchasing, virtual, ghost, fleet and lodge card programs without requiring companies to change banks or issuers. Its agents analyze transaction data, merchant details, supporting documents and company policies to identify restricted items, split purchases, duplicate charges and spending outside contracts.

The agents can request missing information, code transactions, reconcile card statements and resolve routine exceptions. Cases requiring approval or judgment are sent to human reviewers with supporting documents, policy findings, transaction history and records of prior agent actions.
