Appspace Introduces Bring Your Own Model Feature for Enterprise AI Integration

June 16, 2026
Appspace has launched Bring Your Own Model, allowing organizations to connect their preferred AI models directly to its workplace experience platform while maintaining control over data, governance, and cost.

Appspace has introduced Bring Your Own Model (BYOM), a new capability that lets organizations connect their preferred AI models to the Appspace platform, announced in a press release. The feature allows enterprises to use existing AI investments while keeping control over data governance, compliance, and cost.

BYOM enables customers to extend models from providers such as Microsoft Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, and Google Gemini at launch. Requests are processed through the organization's own AI environment and API keys, allowing IT teams to maintain established provider agreements and compliance requirements.

The new capability supports a wide range of workplace functions, including employee communications, knowledge discovery, space reservation, visitor management, and workflow automation. It is part of Appspace's broader AI strategy, which includes integrations based on the Model Context Protocol for connecting AI assistants to enterprise systems.

Appspace will showcase BYOM at InfoComm 2026 in Las Vegas, where attendees can see the platform in operation at booth C7228.
