Apple Inc. is reportedly in discussions to acquire French AI startups Mistral AI and Perplexity AI, according to Reuters. This move is part of Apple's strategy to bolster its AI capabilities and catch up with competitors like Google and Samsung, who are currently leading in AI functionalities.
