Anthropic has raised $13 billion in a Series F funding round, bringing its valuation to $183 billion. This round was led by ICONIQ, Fidelity Management & Research Company, and Lightspeed Venture Partners, announced on their website. The funds will be used to expand enterprise adoption, enhance safety research, and support international growth.

The funding round also saw participation from a diverse group of investors, including Altimeter, Baillie Gifford, BlackRock, Blackstone, and the Qatar Investment Authority. Anthropic's CFO, Krishna Rao, noted the exponential growth in demand across their customer base, highlighting the investors' confidence in the company's financial performance.

Anthropic's rapid growth is attributed to its AI platform and products like Claude Code, which has become a favorite among developers. The company now serves over 300,000 business customers, with significant growth in large accounts. This latest funding round follows a previous Series E round in March 2025, where Anthropic raised $3.5 billion at a $61.5 billion valuation.
