Anthropic-Backed Enterprise Firm Acquires Fractional AI
A newly formed enterprise services company backed by investors including Anthropic, Blackstone, and Hellman & Friedman has acquired Fractional AI, according to a press release. The acquisition will make Fractional AI’s team and delivery capabilities the operational core of the new company.
Fractional AI, founded in 2024 by Chris Taylor, Eddie Siegel, and Travis May, has built a reputation for applied AI services that help enterprises identify and implement suitable AI technologies. Following the acquisition, the company’s engineering team will collaborate directly with Anthropic’s Applied AI organization to guide clients in adopting Claude across business functions.
The new enterprise services firm is supported by a consortium of investors that also includes Goldman Sachs, General Atlantic, Leonard Green & Partners, Apollo Global Management, GIC, and Sequoia Capital. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
