Amorepacific presented AI-driven skincare innovations at the IFSCC Congress 2025, including virtual makeup and skin prediction algorithms, according to a press release.

Amorepacific presented its latest AI-driven skincare innovations at the 35th International Federation of Societies of Cosmetics Chemists (IFSCC) Congress in Cannes, France, from September 15 to 18, 2025. Announced in a press release, the company unveiled advancements in virtual makeup, skin prediction algorithms, and skin microbiome analysis.

Researcher Myeongjin Goh introduced a generative AI-based pipeline for virtual makeup, co-developed with the Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology. This technology analyzes facial features and uses data on makeup trends to recommend personalized styles, offering realistic virtual makeup experiences.

Eunbi Ko presented a study on AI-based skin prediction algorithms for personalized skincare services, conducted at Amorepacific's City Lab. The research validated skin improvement results through clinical trials and customer reviews, building on previous work presented at the 2022 IFSCC Congress.

Additionally, Kil Sun Myoung shared insights from an analysis of skin microbiomes and metabolites in Korean women, revealing age-specific skin traits and distinct microbiome clusters. These findings contribute to a deeper understanding of skin aging.
