Ambarella Unveils Next-Gen Edge AI Technology at ISC West
Ambarella has introduced its next-generation edge AI technology at the ISC West security expo, showcasing advanced reasoning models running on its CVflow Edge AI SoCs. Announced in a press release, the company has shipped over 30 million edge AI systems-on-chip, reinforcing its leadership in on-device and on-premise generative AI applications.
The new demonstrations at ISC West highlight Ambarella's ability to support scalable, high-performance reasoning and vision AI applications across its CVflow 3.0 AI SoC portfolio. These systems now support leading generative AI models ranging from 0.5 to 34 billion parameters. Notably, the DeepSeek GenAI models are being demonstrated on three different price/performance levels of Ambarella's SoC portfolio.
Ambarella's demonstrations include multi-stream video analysis and on-device generative AI capabilities, emphasizing real-time, AI-powered security and analytics without the need for cloud processing. This approach not only preserves privacy but also reduces total cost of ownership for users.
The company also showcased its AI Model Garden, part of the Cooper Developer Platform, to facilitate edge AI development. Several partners from Ambarella's developer ecosystem are demonstrating hardware and software solutions that leverage the superior AI performance per watt of Ambarella's SoCs.
