alby announced its AI shopping agents have facilitated 20 million consumer conversations and processed 39 million shopper messages, according to a press release. The company reported an 81% customer satisfaction score, highlighting growing consumer trust in AI-guided shopping experiences.
alby’s platform is used by major retailers including Wayfair, QVC, and Hibbett to boost engagement and conversion rates. The AI agents are designed to act as proactive shopping companions rather than traditional support chatbots, providing predictive prompts and real-time advice throughout the buying journey.
The company’s tools, such as Product Advisor, Playbooks, In-Session Context, and Recommendations, aim to deepen customer engagement by anticipating shopper needs and improving purchase confidence. Northern Tool, one of alby’s retail partners, reported that its AI agent answers over 75,000 product questions weekly and helps refine product content based on customer interactions.
alby’s milestone reflects increased adoption of embedded AI agents in e-commerce, as retailers employ these systems to drive measurable revenue growth and enhance customer experience.
