Akeneo Acquires PricingHUB to Add AI Pricing to Product Cloud

Akeneo has acquired PricingHUB, integrating pricing management into its Product Cloud to connect product data and pricing for AI driven commerce.

Akeneo announced in a press release the acquisition of PricingHUB, a pricing management platform. The move adds pricing as a core capability within Akeneo's Product Cloud, allowing companies to align product data with pricing and competitiveness in commerce influenced by AI.

Akeneo stated that combining product information and pricing will help brands and retailers make faster decisions and respond to market changes more effectively. The integration connects pricing, product, and category teams through a unified decision layer.

PricingHUB will continue operating as a dedicated business unit within Akeneo to maintain continuity for its customers. The acquisition builds on Akeneo’s earlier expansion of AI capabilities following its purchase of Unifai in 2023 and extends the Product Cloud’s scope beyond product data management.

The combined platform aims to help organizations manage product information and pricing together to improve visibility and performance across digital channels.
