Air and Applied Research Associates Link Fuel Sensors to AI Logistics Platform
Air and Applied Research Associates have formed a strategic partnership to connect automated battlefield fuel sensing with Air's Enterprise Readiness platform, the companies announced in a press release. The integration will use ARA's ArmorPulse-FS fuel sensing system to send current fuel consumption data into Air's AI platform for tactical commanders and logistics teams.
The joint system is designed to track fuel availability by vehicle ID and geographic location. Air will use that data for planning, prioritization, orchestration, and shortage prediction, while tactical vehicle operation and safety execution remain with platform operators.
The companies said Air workflows reduced resupply planning time by 97 percent during Project Convergence Capstone 5, from 36 hours to one hour. The new integration applies that workflow to fuel data from ARA sensors.
