Advantech and Edge Impulse Partner to Streamline Edge AI Development
Advantech has announced a strategic collaboration with Edge Impulse, a Qualcomm Technologies company, to accelerate edge AI development, according to a press release. The partnership was unveiled at Edge Impulse’s annual Imagine event in California by Advantech’s Embedded Sector President Miller Chang and Qualcomm Finland RFFE Oy’s VP of Product Management, Zach Shelby.
The collaboration will integrate Edge Impulse’s AI development tools into Advantech’s edge computing platforms, including AI industrial motherboards, inference systems, servers, industrial AI cameras, and development kits. This integration aims to simplify model development workflows and reduce the time required to move from proof-of-concept to deployment.
By pre-integrating Edge Impulse’s tools, Advantech intends to lower barriers for enterprise AI adoption and enable faster prototyping across sectors such as manufacturing, healthcare, logistics, and smart city applications.
