Adaptive Computer Secures $7 Million to Launch No-Code App Platform
Adaptive Computer has announced a $7 million seed funding round to support its innovative platform that enables non-programmers to create custom applications. The funding round was led by Pebblebed, with contributions from Conviction Partners, Jake Paul's Anti Fund, and Roblox CEO Dave Baszucki, announced in a press release.
The platform, designed by co-founders Dennis Xu and Mike Soylu, allows users to build full-featured apps by simply entering text prompts. This no-code approach aims to make app development accessible to everyone, eliminating the need for programming knowledge. Adaptive Computer's engine manages technical aspects such as database creation, user authentication, and file management, enabling seamless app integration.
Currently in alpha mode, the platform has demonstrated its capability by creating a JavaScript-based bicycle ride log app from a simple text prompt. The app included features like sorting rides and tallying total distance, showcasing the platform's potential for real-world applications.
Adaptive Computer offers three subscription tiers: a free version, a $20/month Creator plan, and a $100/month Pro plan, allowing users to personalize their computing experience by building interconnected apps.
