ACORD Solutions Group Adds Automated Sanctions Screening to Transcriber

October 21, 2025
ACORD Solutions Group has introduced an AI-enabled Sanctions Screening service for its Transcriber platform, automating compliance checks in the insurance industry.

ACORD Solutions Group announced in a press release the launch of an automated Sanctions Screening service within its ACORD Transcriber platform. The new feature uses AI to extract and verify data from insurance documents, replacing manual sanctions checks with real-time automated screening.

The service sends extracted names and locations from documents such as PDFs and Excel files to LexisNexis or a client’s chosen screening provider for instant compliance verification. It dynamically maps data to minimize false positives and reduce the risk of missing sanctioned individuals or entities.

According to the company, the integration with external screening providers ensures access to widely trusted databases, while the automation reduces compliance processing time from days to minutes. ACORD Transcriber is designed to streamline document processing and compliance tasks across the insurance industry.

ACORD Solutions Group develops digital solutions to improve data exchange and operational efficiency for global insurance organizations.
