Abound Chooses Monad for Wallet and AI Payment Workflows
Abound has chosen Monad to support its next product phase, including a planned wallet and AI agent payment workflows, the company announced in a press release.
Abound said it has served more than $500 million in remittance volume. The company focuses on financial services for Indians overseas, including payments between the US and India, savings, and everyday benefits.
The planned wallet will let users hold, move, and manage money across accounts in multiple currencies. It will support instant transfers between US and India accounts, with more countries planned later. Abound said the waitlist will open soon and the product is scheduled to launch in Q3 2026.
The roadmap also includes interest bearing savings and investment accounts, along with AI agent workflows. Abound said it will use the x402 agentic payment protocol for its upcoming product suite. Monad Foundation is a premier member of the x402 Foundation.
