ABB Robotics is set to integrate LandingAI's computer vision software into its RobotStudio suite, aiming to reduce deployment time by up to 80% across various industries.

ABB Robotics has announced a strategic partnership with LandingAI to integrate LandingAI's computer vision software, LandingLens, into its RobotStudio suite. This collaboration aims to significantly reduce the time required to deploy robotic applications by up to 80%, as stated in a press release.

The integration of LandingLens, which uses pre-trained large vision models, will allow ABB Robotics to streamline the deployment process across industries such as logistics, healthcare, and food and beverage. The upgraded software suite is expected to be available in the first quarter of 2026, providing users with the ability to retrain AI models for new scenarios without extensive programming expertise.

This partnership marks a significant step towards ABB Robotics' vision for Autonomous Versatile Robotics (AVR), enhancing the flexibility and efficiency of robotic systems. The collaboration also includes a venture capital investment by ABB Robotics Ventures in LandingAI, further solidifying their commitment to advancing AI-driven robotics solutions.
