10x Genomics Partners with Anthropic to Bring Single-Cell Analysis to Claude for Life Sciences
10x Genomics and Anthropic have announced a collaboration to integrate 10x’s single-cell and spatial biology tools into Claude for Life Sciences, according to a press release. The integration uses Anthropic’s Model Context Protocol (MCP) to connect 10x’s analysis software with Claude, allowing scientists to explore datasets using natural language instead of code.
Through Claude for Life Sciences, researchers can now perform tasks such as read alignment, feature matrix generation, and clustering via conversational queries. The system also connects to 10x’s Cloud Analysis platform, providing scalable access for both new and advanced users.
The collaboration aims to make single-cell and spatial analysis more accessible by removing computational barriers. Researchers can interact directly with their data, perform analyses, and interpret results without requiring specialized programming skills.
