Yasp Secures $5 Million to Advance AI Model Optimization

Yasp, a German DeepTech startup, has successfully closed a $5 million seed funding round led by Capnamic, announced on their website. The funding will support the development of Yasp's Agentic AI Compiler, a technology designed to accelerate AI model training and inference, with a market launch planned for the end of 2025.
The Agentic AI Compiler aims to address the growing bottleneck in AI development by simplifying the process of model training and deployment. It integrates seamlessly with popular frameworks like PyTorch, allowing developers to optimize AI models for specific hardware with just a single API call. This approach eliminates the need for developers to rewrite complex models, offering a significant improvement over traditional runtime compilation.
Yasp plans to use the funds to accelerate product development, expand support for additional hardware platforms, and deepen integrations with widely used AI development tools. With offices in Munich and Montreal, the company is poised to help developers and enterprises unlock new possibilities in AI innovation while controlling costs.
