XPENG launches the G9L SUV in Europe, completing the Paris debut scheduled after its September launch in China, with French pricing starting at €74,990, the company said in a press release.

The electric version offers up to 591 kilometers of WLTP range. Its 800 volt architecture and 5C charging system can charge the battery from 10% to 80% in 11.7 minutes. The SUV will have six seat and seven seat layouts and will become the fourth XPENG model produced in Europe following a production trial at Magna in Graz, Austria.

XPENG also began its first large scale European public test rides for NGP, its assisted driving system powered by VLA 2.0 and Turing AI chips. The demonstrations cover Paris roundabouts, narrow streets, motorcycle traffic, pedestrian crossings and right of way situations. NGP is also available for public demonstrations in the Paris Motor Show's Autonomous Lab.
