Xellar Biosystems Raises $50 Million to Expand 3D Bio Intelligence Platform
Xellar Biosystems has raised $50 million in Series A and A+ financing to expand its 3D Bio Intelligence platform, announced in a press release. The funding will support the company's integrated technology stack that includes organ-on-chip systems, laboratory automation, high content imaging, multi-omics analysis, and AI based biological modeling.
Xellar's platform combines human organ-on-chip models with automated experimentation and computational intelligence to generate high quality, multi dimensional biological data. This approach aims to replace reliance on animal models by capturing biological processes under realistic conditions, improving understanding of mechanisms, toxicity, and therapeutic responses.
The new capital will be used to expand automated biological data generation, strengthen AI and computational biology teams, and accelerate the development of virtual cell technologies that connect experimental biology with computational modeling. Founded in 2022, Xellar focuses on combining human relevant biological systems with machine intelligence to improve the speed and predictability of drug discovery.
