xAI Releases Grok 4.6 for Cursor and Grok Build

xAI announced on its website the release of Grok 4.6, a model focused on long running agents, coding, knowledge work, and visual projects. The model is available in Cursor, Grok Build, the xAI API, and through partners including OpenRouter, Vercel, and Cloudflare.

Grok 4.6 is designed to stay with complex tasks across many steps, including research, information analysis, work across a codebase, and building applications or work artifacts from a prompt. xAI said the model can handle broad product ideas, create a working first version, and refine results through feedback.

The company said Grok 4.6 matches GPT 5.6 Sol Max with a score of 61 on the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index. It also reported scores of 69.9 percent on CursorBench v3.2, 65.9 percent on DeepSWE v1.1, and 61.3 percent on FrontierCode v1.1 Extended.

Pricing starts at $2 per million input tokens and $6 per million output tokens. A faster variant is available at twice that price, and xAI is offering twice the included usage inside Cursor and Grok Build for the first week.
