Workday Brings Sana Actions to Claude, Gemini, Copilot, Teams and Slack
Workday announced in a press release that Sana will work inside Claude, Gemini Enterprise, Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft Teams and Slack. Employees will be able to request HR and finance tasks in plain language, with Sana selecting the required Workday agents and applying company policies, permissions and approvals.
Sana will process requests without giving third party tools raw access to Workday data. Actions will remain recorded in Workday, including approvals and audit trails. A single connection can provide access to agents built by Workday, customers or partners across supported tools.
Existing Sana self service features are generally available in Gemini Enterprise, Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft Teams and Slack. The broader Sana actions will become available on those platforms in late 2026.
Sana in Anthropic's Claude Cowork is available in early access. Sana MCP support in Microsoft Copilot is expected to enter early access in late 2026.
