Workday has launched operations in the United Arab Emirates, opening an office in Dubai and expanding its local leadership team.

Workday launches operations in the United Arab Emirates with a new office in Dubai, the company announced in a press release. The expansion includes dedicated regional operations and additional local leadership for its human resources, finance and IT software business.

Workday also released research showing that 90% of UAE employees use AI at least weekly. This includes 58% who use it several times a week and 18% who use it every working day.

Employees reported saving an average of 3.6 hours each week through AI, while spending 3.4 hours clarifying, correcting or rewriting low quality AI output. Among surveyed organizations, 32% directed savings from AI toward training and skills, while 24% primarily used the savings for cost reduction.
