WAND AI Adds StorONE Storage Layer to Sovereign AI Offering

WAND AI has added StorONE to its Sovereign AI offering, adding a storage efficiency layer for sovereign AI programs and enterprises.

WAND AI has added StorONE to its Sovereign AI offering, the companies announced in a press release. The joint reference architecture is available now for sovereign programs and enterprises.

StorONE adds its Real-Time Tiering architecture to the WAND AI ecosystem. The system writes data to flash at full performance, then moves inactive blocks to high capacity media inside the same volume while keeping each block immediately accessible.

WAND AI said its sovereign backend is designed to raise national compute utilization by letting data owners use shared capacity rather than dedicated carveouts. StorONE said its storage layer can reduce average flash use by about 90 percent with about 10 percent cost and performance overhead impact.

The StorONE option is elective. WAND AI said its backend can continue to run on existing storage where that setup already meets program needs.
