VIAVI Solutions has introduced the CyberFlood CF1000 Appliance, a 400G security and performance test platform designed to validate multi-terabit security and AI data center infrastructures under encrypted, large-scale conditions.

VIAVI Solutions has launched the CyberFlood CF1000 Appliance, a 400G security and application performance test platform for validating multi-terabit security and AI data center infrastructures announced in a press release.

The CF1000 is designed for network equipment vendors, hyperscale data center operators, and service providers. It supports OSI Layer 4 to 7 validation under encrypted and dynamic mixed traffic conditions, covering systems such as firewalls, DDoS mitigation, VPN gateways, and AI inference fabrics.

The platform integrates encrypted traffic generation, threat vector emulation, quantum-safe cryptography validation, and AI inference workload testing in one system. It offers native 400G security testing with four 400G OSFP ports and eight 100G QSFP28 ports, enabling up to 1.2 Tbps of application traffic without external switching. It supports over 500 Gbps of encrypted throughput and up to 800,000 TLS v1.3 connections per second.

CF1000 also adds scalable AI inference traffic emulation, allowing realistic evaluation of large language model workloads and AI-driven applications at high throughput. This enables users to assess infrastructure performance, cost efficiency, and user experience before deployment.
