Versant Acquires AI Platform StockStory to Strengthen CNBC’s Digital Insights
Versant Media Group, Inc. has acquired StockStory, an AI-powered platform that delivers financial analysis, market insights, and stock recommendations, announced in a press release. The acquisition is intended to support the expansion of CNBC’s digital capabilities and strengthen its data-driven financial reporting.
According to Versant, StockStory’s technology combines data, machine learning, and editorial frameworks to produce scalable analysis of public companies. This integration will enable CNBC to provide faster and more actionable insights for investors across its digital products.
As part of the acquisition, StockStory founder and CEO Adam Hejl will join Versant Media Group, Inc., reporting to Deep Bagchee, Chief Product and Technology Officer for News. The StockStory team will focus initially on enhancing CNBC’s digital investing tools and analytics.
